Emile Llerandi, PhD

Along with working with adults and couples, Dr. Llerandi specializes in treating children, teens and caregivers. Several evidence-based treatments (for example, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy) are used in his therapy approaches. These are tailored specifically to the clients’ needs in a culturally sensitive manner. He has a strong background in working with families affected by trauma and with youth who have ADHD and/or conduct problems. Using a strength-based approach, he empowers youth to move past vicious negative cycles, and doing so even when others have given up on them. The most rewarding part of his work is to see these youth, families and individuals blossom, develop new perspectives and dream again.
