Who We Are

Jill Henley, PsyD Clinical Neuropsychologist

Jill Henley, PsyD
Clinical Neuropsychologist

The clinic is led by Dr. Jill Henley, a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in the treatment of sport-related concussions. Dr. Henley completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Sports Concussion Program where she was part of a multi-disciplinary team who worked with patients ranging from young athletes to NHL and NFL players. Her training as a neuropsychologist allows her to look beyond the mechanism of injury and understand how brain function relates to the emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being of each child.

Our Mission/Philosphy

Current research shows that an active, individualized approach is the most effective form of treatment. Our comprehensive evaluation allows us to identify clinical subtypes of concussion and tailor treatment to better target symptoms and meet the unique needs and recovery goals of every patient. We remain involved through every stage of the return to learn/return to play protocol, so patients and their families feel supported as they return to academics, athletics, and other recreational activities they enjoy as quickly and safely as possible.

Our Services

The length of your visits and the actual components of each evaluation vary, depending on a variety of factors. At times, telehealth appointments may also be appropriate. In order to facilitate proper management and treatment, our evaluation can include:

  • Neurocognitive Screening
  • Comprehensive Neuropsychological Testing
  • Vestibular/Ocular Screening
  • Detailed Return to Learn Plans
  • Return-to-Play Consultation
