Casey utilizes evidence-based mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and problem-solving techniques in her work with adult patients experiencing a variety of issues. Such issues include generalized anxiety, social anxiety, interpersonal conflict, depression, and complicated trauma histories and PTSD. She also has a special interest in working with patients navigating physical, medical, and/or psychiatric disabilities and their disabled identity. Casey uses a person-in-environment perspective with a goal to help patients better understand who they are and who and what shapes them. Casey maintains the belief that the patient is the true expert of their own life, and she uses this belief to guide her practice.
